What You Need to Know
Trauma release through RER works with your body’s natural capacity to process and discharge stored stress. You don’t need to talk about what happened. Sessions use guided body awareness to help your nervous system shift out of fight, flight, or freeze. Most clients feel lighter after 1–3 sessions. Available in Springvale, Middle Park, Seaford and online.
What ‘No Reliving’ Really Means
Many trauma therapies ask you to describe, revisit, or mentally relive traumatic experiences. For some people, this is retraumatising. RER takes a fundamentally different approach.
You DON’T have to describe what happened in detail
You DON’T have to mentally revisit traumatic moments
You DO work with your body’s present-moment responses
Your body already knows what happened. RER helps it release what it’s been holding — no narrative required.
How Trauma Gets Stored in Your Nervous System
When you experience something overwhelming, your nervous system responds with fight, flight, or freeze. In a healthy system, this response completes and your body returns to calm.
But when trauma occurs — especially repeated or inescapable trauma — this response can get ‘stuck.’ Your body remains in a state of high alert, even when the danger has passed. This is what trauma feels like: a body that hasn’t been able to reset.
RER helps your nervous system complete these interrupted responses, allowing your body to finally return to a state of safety and calm.

What a Trauma Release Session Feels Like
Every session is different because every body is different. But here’s what many clients experience:
Body Awareness
Nev guides you to notice sensations in your body — tension, heat, tingling, heaviness. This isn’t about analysing — just noticing.
Natural Movement
Your body may respond with gentle movements, breath changes, or shifts in posture. This is your nervous system discharging stored stress.
Safety Throughout
You remain in control. Nev checks in regularly. You can pause or stop at any time. The pace is always yours.
Lighter Afterward
Most clients report feeling lighter, calmer, and more grounded after a session. The change can be subtle or significant.
Your body already knows what happened. RER helps it release what it’s been holding — no narrative required.
Trauma Release For Specific Experiences
I carried trauma from a car accident for five years. Every time I tried to talk about it, I’d shut down. RER was the first approach that let me process it without having to explain. My body did the work — Nev just guided it. I walked out of that session feeling like a weight had literally lifted.
